Morning Routine, General Diary, Thoughts, and Ideas
Slept well at home, got up and completed my morning routine.
Day 16 for my son post-transplant and his blood numbers are so good that the doctors said he can go for a walk outside today in a private courtyard and that he will highly likely be allowed to isolate from home early next week.
Interestingly, at least for me, Horse Bot has had 2 full days of profit, maybe we at last have the strategy correct for winter races. We decided to drop jumps and Ireland completely. Jumps seem to tire the horses right at the last minute and Ireland just doesn’t seem right, I’m convinced many of the Irish races are fixed, but I could be wrong!
Food Diary
Today I ate:
For breakfast, I had 3 fried eggs on two Costco burger – full carnivore diet style and therefore zero carbohydrates (I think) and very healthy for me. Can I keep it up today? Watch this space. Today’s photo is my burgers with fried eggs breakfast.
I’ve watched quite a lot of YouTube videos now on how to get the perfect fried egg. I still don’t think I am there, but todays effort was pretty close. I like the whites to be crispy around the edges and the yolk to still be runny. I just about achieved that today by placing frying the eggs quickly in a mixture of olive oil and butter. Some videos suggest covering the eggs with a lid, but when I tried that the yolks would lose their runniness by the time the whites got crispy. More egg frying experiments are still required!
In the SAVERS acronym R is for Reading
My goal today is to read 20 minutes of a new book I have just started today, Build and Promote Profitable SaaS Business
My starting point for today is location 1 or 0% complete.
My ending point was location 207 or 8% complete.
In the SAVERS acronym, S is for Scribing
Keynotes from the book today were:
Well let me start by saying I’m absolutely loving this books so far, only 8% in but I’m taking useful notes from nearly every sentence. Hope it stays at this high level of greatness!
– To find a suitable affiliate marketing program use affiliate marketplaces such as CJ or ClickBank
– A great source for SAAS product ideas is to search through API offerings and build software on top of them. Think about combining two or three APIs to create a custom-made software product for a specific market.
– Google the APIs for your niche by typing “List of API for {niche}”. “The niche could be SMS, instant messaging, or reverse phone lookup databases”. Identify common patterns in the lists Google returns.
– Price for API and cost of final product
– Number of offerings and type of clientele, think about who a typical customer would be. B2B customer? Then what use case/timing would they need your product. Who would be responsible in the company for using it, who for purchasing it. Always think about the people first and the profit last, profit is “a pleasant bonus”
– Your interest in the niche
– The above approach gives you access to many business ideas
