Morning Routine, General Diary, Thoughts, and Ideas
Another night at home, I woke up at silly o’clock for me, around 5:30 am so I started my morning routine, including my Win Hoff breathing exercises, but then decided that I would be absolutely knackered and useless all day if I didn’t try and get some more sleep. So I went back to sleep and woke up around 9:30 am feeling great!
Day 14 for my son post-transplant and his numbers are still trending, hopefully, he could be out of the hospital in a week or so.
Two work meetings today, one with a new committee of an existing squash club customer where I demonstrated how our booking system
PlanIt-BookIt works. The focus was on showing them how to do club bookings for team events. The second meeting was with an EPOS till provider to discuss how we might integrate our system with their tills for the upgrade that one of our squash club customers is pursuing.
After the meeting, I packed some things for my overnight stay in the hospital. I’m listening to a relatively interesting audio drama on Spotify so I put that on for my journey to the hospital.
Got to the hospital only to realize that I had forgotten to pack all of the toiletries and pills that I take for my hiatus hernia. Luckily, my lovely wife said she would go home, get them and then come back to the hospital with them for me.
Food Diary
Today I ate:
A reheated, leftover portion of yesterday’s steak and kidney pie, I reheated it in my air fryer, was lovely, see today’s picture.
For dinner, I had my son’s hospital chili, with treacle toffee pudding.
Then I also had as snacks today, a couple of bags of crisps and some more of the little packs of hospital biscuits which are kindly provided by the
candlelighters charity.

In the SAVERS acronym, S is for Scribing
Keynotes from the book today were:
About associating with the right people, positive people who will push you or you can aspire to be like and then dissociate yourself from negative people that bring you down.
Then also a note about when you hit your wall to push a little bit further and do some more. This will accelerate the speed of your results.
It also mentioned to do things that people don’t expect, he gave an example of Richard Branson driving a tank down fifth avenue in New York.
What do you currently do where you can push beyond? Exercises, prospecting calls, etc.
Identify three areas where you can beat the expectations – where you can create Wow moments or do the unexpected.
